The buzz around AI today reminds me a lot of the hype that surrounded NFTs just a few years ago. \n Back then, everyone was rushing to mint, flip, or collect some blurry jpeg in hopes of hitting the jackpot. \n People thought NFTs were going to redefine digital ownership, and maybe they still might in some niche context. \n But for many of us in the creative field, they turned out to be more of a speculative distraction than a practical tool.<\/p>\n\n

And now, we hear similar conversations with AI. Except this time, the technology is not just smoke and mirrors. It’s something tangible. \n As a designer and 3D animator with over 15 years of experience, I use AI daily \u2014 not to cheat, not to shortcut, but to expand what’s possible.<\/p>\n\n

NFTs offered digital scarcity. AI offers digital productivity.

When a business hires me, they don\u2019t care if I use a brush, Maya, Midjourney, or ChatGPT. \n They care that what I deliver is solid, on time, on brand, and above expectations. NFTs never helped me do that. AI tools absolutely do.<\/p>\n\n

I get it. The hype train can feel overwhelming. And some of it is real. But the biggest difference between NFTs and AI is this:<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in the design or animation world like I am, use AI like you\u2019d use any other tool. \n Intentionally, responsibly, and with your creative vision at the center. That\u2019s where the real value is.<\/p>\n\n \n
