Autodesk Fusion September 2026 Update

Autodesk has released the September 2026 major update for Fusion, build v.2705.1.11, delivering one of the broadest sets of improvements the platform has received this year.
The release is not centered around one spectacular headline feature. Autodesk instead improves multiple areas professionals touch every day: modeling reliability, performance, rendering, engineering data, sheet metal, CAM, additive manufacturing, simulation and automation.
That broader direction is increasingly important. Fusion is becoming less of an isolated CAD application and more of the connective layer between concept, engineering, manufacturing and presentation.

Manufacturing
Manufacturing continues expanding with 2 Axis Part Alignment for supported workflows.
Fusion can also create a milling tool holder directly from imported solid geometry such as manufacturer-supplied STEP data.

Electronics, Simulation and the Fusion API Keep Expanding
Electronics receives additional schematic and PCB capabilities, while Simulation expands the modern Results experience to Modal Frequencies and Structural Buckling studies.
For developers, the full release of TypeScript support for Fusion scripts and add-ins joins Python and C++ and opens the platform to a wider development ecosystem.
